General Terms and Conditions of Sale for products sold on the tiroptic.fr website

Article 1 
These terms and conditions govern sales made by Tiroptic concerning the sale of sighting optics. 
 
Article 2 
Prices are indicated in euros, calculated excluding taxes. They are not increased by the VAT rate. This company operates under the VAT exemption scheme. Shipping costs are to be added. In the event of an order to a country other than mainland France, you are the importer of the product(s) concerned; customs duties or other local taxes, import duties, or state taxes may be payable; these duties and amounts are not the responsibility of Tiroptic. These will be your responsibility, both in terms of declaration and payment to the relevant authorities and organizations in your country. We advise you to inquire about these matters with your local authorities. 
All orders are payable in euros. Tiroptic reserves the right to modify these prices at any time, but the product will be invoiced based on the price in effect at the time of order confirmation and subject to availability. 
The products remain the property of Tiroptic until full payment has been made. Please note: as soon as you physically take possession of the ordered products, the risk of loss or damage to them is transferred to you. 
 
Article 3. Orders 
You can place orders online; Contractual information is presented in French and will be confirmed at the latest upon validation of your order. Tiroptic reserves the right not to record a payment or to confirm an order for any reason whatsoever, particularly in the event of a supply problem or in the event of a difficulty regarding the order received. 
 
Article 4. Validation of your order 
Any order placed on the tiroptic.fr website implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions; any order implies your full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale without exception or reservation; all data provided and the recorded confirmation will constitute proof of the transaction. You declare that you have full knowledge of them; the order confirmation will constitute your signature and acceptance of the transactions carried out; a summary of your order and these General Terms and Conditions of Sale will be sent to you via the email address provided with your order. 
 
Article 5. Payment 
Confirming your order implies your obligation to pay the indicated price; Payment is made by bank transfer or check; Our bank details will be communicated to you in the event of payment by bank transfer; In the event of split shipments, only the products shipped will be debited. 
 
Article 6. Withdrawal 
In accordance with the provisions of Article L121-21 of the French Consumer Code, you have a withdrawal period of 14 days from receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to provide a reason or pay a penalty; returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, instructions, accessories); Sighting optics must under no circumstances have been attached to a weapon and must not bear any marks; in this case, you are liable; Any damage to the product may invalidate your right of withdrawal; you are responsible for return costs; if you exercise your right of withdrawal, Tiroptic will reimburse the sums paid within 14 days of notification of your request by check or bank transfer;
 
Article 7. Availability 
Our products are offered while they are visible on the tiroptic.fr website and within the limits of available stocks. For products not in stock, our offers are subject to availability from our suppliers. In the event of unavailability from suppliers, you will be notified by email. In the event of excessive delays from Russia or Belarus, you may cancel your order and your deposit will be refunded. 
 
Article 8. Delivery 
Products are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the buyer at the time of ordering. In the event of a shipping delay, an email will be sent to you to inform you of any possible impact on the delivery time announced at the time of ordering. In accordance with legal provisions, in the event of a delivery delay, you have the option to cancel the order under the terms and conditions defined in Article L138-2 of the French Consumer Code. If you receive the product in the meantime, we will refund it and cover shipping costs under the conditions of Article L138-3 of the French Consumer Code. 
In the event of delivery by carrier, Tiroptic cannot be held responsible for late delivery due exclusively to the customer's unavailability after several proposed appointments. 
 
Article 9. Warranty 
All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects, as provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. In the event of non-compliance with the product sold, it may be returned, exchanged, or refunded. All complaints, requests for exchanges, or refunds must be sent to us by email within 30 days of delivery. The products must be returned to us in the condition in which you received them, with all components, packaging, instructions, and accessories. Shipping costs will be refunded based on the invoiced price, and return costs will be refunded upon presentation of proof. The provisions of this article do not prevent you from benefiting from the right of withdrawal provided for in Article 6. 
 
Article 10. Liability 
The products offered comply with current French legislation; Tiroptic cannot be held liable for non-compliance with the legislation of the country to which the product is delivered. It is your responsibility to check with local authorities regarding the import or use of the products you plan to order. Furthermore, Tiroptic cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from improper use of the purchased product. Finally, Tiroptic cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the internet, including service interruptions, external intrusions, or the presence of computer viruses. 
 
Article 11. Applicable Law in the Event of Disputes 
The language of this contract is French; these terms of sale are subject to French law; in the event of a dispute, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction. 
 
Article 12. Intellectual Property 
All elements of the tiroptic.fr website are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Tiroptic; some images may belong to our suppliers. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, redistribute, or use for any purpose whatsoever, even partially, elements of the website, whether software or visual. any simple or hypertext link is strictly prohibited without the express agreement of the Tiroptic company.
 
Article 13. Personal Data. GDPR. 
Tiroptic reserves the right to collect your personal information and data; this information is necessary to process your order and complete the shipment we send you. This information and data is also retained for security purposes and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and object to your personal information and data by contacting us directly on the website.
